The Duvak is the head and dance scarf of the Albanian women's traditional costume – here in the version for girls. In the Prizren girls' traditional costume, it adds the shimmering finishing touch with its bold red and gold-coloured coin pendants.
Design and features
- Bold red, light and softly flowing
- Edge with gold-coloured decorative chain and coin pendants
- Can be worn as a headscarf or held in the hand as a dance scarf
Occasions
Your child can wear the Duvak to Albanian weddings (dasma), on Flag Day, Dita e Flamurit (28 November), at traditional family celebrations and at cultural and folklore events – and, of course, when dancing.
What's included
You receive the scarf (Duvak) only. The traditional dress, waistcoat, apron and all other costume pieces shown in combination photos are not included.
Fit and size
When ordering, you enter your child's height and weight; further measurements are optional. We check every order for the right size before shipping. If a piece fits a little loosely, a tailor can easily adjust it.
